ABOUT POTLAKO MATSEKE

Potlako Matseke specializes in glamour and fashion photography and is based in Hammanskraal, Pretoria. He began shooting in 2018 while still in high school and opened his own photographic company called PTOshoots during this time. He went to Tshwane University of Technology, studying commercial photography where he developed a keen interest in glamour photography.

 

For him taking photographs is a chance to record special moments that speak to the shared experience of humanity. Potlako sees photography as an artistic medium that portrays reality while also transcending it. He believes that photography's appeal is both within and outside of life and that a true artistic piece should be able to withstand scrutiny.

His images are abstract, yet the beauty is in its simplicity. He hopes that you appreciate his work as much as he did creating it.
